Para 27) The MHMRSD started the initiative for the confirmation and ratification of the Optional Protocol to the ICESCR and the OP-CRC-IC, which was envisaged in the Government's work plan for 2022. Due to the extraordinary parliamentary elections, the Government was in a technical mandate from 15 February to 26 October, 2022, and it was not possible to implement this plan, so ratification is expected in 2023.
