Recommendation
The United Nations country team recommended that Serbia fully protect the freedom of peaceful assembly of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons and ensure that hate crimes against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex persons were promptly, independently and impartially investigated and that violence in the family motivated by sexual orientation or gender identity was addressed through criminal justice and social protection measures.
