Recommendation
The Working Group recommended ensuring full access to quality health-care services for all women and girls. It recommended that Romania take all appropriate legislative and educational measures to end discrimination against Roma women and girls in access to health care – such as training health professionals, creating accessible complaint mechanisms, sanctioning discriminatory practices, and increasing the number of Roma health mediators.
