Recommendation
The [National Human Rights] Commission recommended that Mali amend the Personal and Family Code to remove its discriminatory clauses and that it adopt legislative and regulatory measures to crack down on gender-based violence and ensure compliance with the 2015 law establishing measures to promote gender equality in access to appointed and elected positions.
