Recommendation
[CEDAW] recommended that Liechtenstein, in accordance with the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, prohibit mediation or counselling by the police in cases involving gender-based violence against women, and provide specialized capacity-building to the judiciary, the police and other law enforcement officers on gender-based violence against women.
