JS2 recommended introducing into national law specific provisions on the protection of women with disabilities, raising community awareness to eradicate all prejudices and stereotypes based on sex and disability and mainstreaming disability in policies targeted at women. JS5 recommended the introduction of amendments to the Penal Code aimed at reducing violence against girls and women with disabilities. [Para 84]
