Take the necessary steps to implement a new national action plan on violence against women; develop legislation that prohibits and punishes all forms of gender-based violence, including domestic violence; as well as a comprehensive strategy to prevent and protect children against all forms of violence, including within the family, in digital media and at school; and establish an effective mechanism that facilitates the reporting of all forms of violence, including sexual abuse.
