Para 95) Legislative Decree No. 44 of 2018 on international crimes criminalizes acts of slavery and servitude. Such acts include the subjection of an individual to authority stemming from a property right, the subjection of an individual to deprivation of liberty or anything similar, and the exercise of authority as a means of trafficking in persons, especially women and children.
