Para 50) Both policies prioritize rural women’s participation due to their important role in self-consumption production and family nourishment. It is also a means for self-sufficiency and empowerment of women, contributing, over the years, to the mitigation of all kinds of violence against these women. Para 81) Regarding domestic labor that amounts to slavery, the first rescue of a domestic worker took place in 2017. Afterwards, there were 26 further rescues until December 2021. Data from 2017 up to June 2021 indicate that 73% of the rescues took place in urban households. Moreover, 80% of rescued workers were women, 72% of them were black, 11% white, 11% yellow and 6% indigenous.
