Para 47) The United Nations country team noted with deep concern the prevalence of harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation and cutting. While expressing appreciation for efforts by the Government to discourage and to gather information on the practice, and for the development of the 2030 national road map and action plan on the prevention of female genital mutilation and cutting, it noted that the practice continued to be rampant.
