Para 66) The State continues to provide special assistance to persons living with HIV and AIDS through awareness-raising, screening and the distribution of free antiretroviral drugs to persons living with AIDS. These measures have kept the HIV prevalence rate at 1.1 per cent among the general population aged 15–49 years according to the 2013 Mali Demographic and Health Survey.
