HRW recommended conducting a major reform of the sexuality education curriculum to remove gender stereotypes, provide scientific information about healthy sexuality and include inclusive teaching about consent, gender-based violence and healthy relationships. It recommended redesigning the national sexuality education curriculum to include materials about sexual orientations and gender identities and objective information on prevention and treatment for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
