Improve the compensation mechanism for Roma women who were forcibly sterilized.
Explanation
Czechia is currently working on the implementation of the Roma Integration Strategy. Compensation is provided to victims of illegal sterilizations in accordance with the Compensation Act, administrative regulations and relevant jurisprudence. The Ministry of Health, together with NGO’s, is trying to support applicants and ensure the smooth progress of compensation proceedings in accordance with the aim of the Act.
