[CRC] welcomed the establishment of the National Child Rights Committee and the improvements made to the birth registration system, which allowed for timely and universal birth registration. However, the Committee noted that it was not clear whether that body had a clear mandate and sufficient authority to coordinate the implementation of the CRC across different government ministries.
