The ILO Committee of Experts noted with regret the Government’s indication that there had been no progress regarding the amending of section 3 (1) of the Equal Pay Act of 1994, which provided for “equal pay for equal work”, and that the Act was therefore not in conformity with the principle of equal remuneration for men and women for work of equal value, and requested the Government to amend it without further delay.
