Recommendation
The HR Committee ... recommended that Hungary ensure that cases of domestic violence were reported, recorded and thoroughly investigated, perpetrators were prosecuted and punished with appropriate sanctions and victims had access to effective remedies and means of protection. It added that Hungary should strengthen the legal framework for the protection of women against domestic and sexual violence. [Para 33]
