Recommendation
AI recommended that Hungary amend the Fundamental Law by repealing the unnecessarily restrictive and discriminatory provisions introduced since 2016, including those which restrict the rights of LGBTI people. It further recommended to provide equal rights for LGBTI people, including legalising same-sex marriage and adoption by same-sex couples and by individuals. [Para 13]
