SLPPA stated that Saint Lucia’s Health and Family Life curriculum, needed to reflect and impact the reality of children and adolescence and adhere to United Nations standards. Without this, children and adolescents would continue to be vulnerable and at high risk of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
