Recommendation
CEDAW recommended that the Federated States of Micronesia strengthen the judicial system to ensure that women had effective access to justice, including by increasing human, technical and financial resources. The United Nations country team recommended that the Federated States of Micronesia strengthen measures to ensure access for women to justice, encourage the reporting of cases of violence to the authorities and ensure that victims have access to protection, redress and appropriate support services.
