Recommendation
United Families International (UFI) stated that Georgia was a popular destination for third-party reproduction. A marriage certificate of couples was not needed until the birth of the baby in Georgia and foreign couples were not required to travel to the country to sign a surrogacy agreement. Many Georgian surrogate women were victims of domestic abuse, and some men coerced their wives into being surrogates for money. [Para 125]
