UNESCO noted that lack of information on sexual and reproductive health services was a prevailing problem, especially in rural communities, and that faith-based schools prohibited or limited discussions on sexual and reproductive health. It encouraged Belize to ensure the provision of sexual and reproductive health education, especially in rural communities, and to increase its efforts to avoid pregnant adolescents dropping out of school.
