UNFPA commended Uzbekistan for having accepted the recommendation to improve comprehensive sexuality education inside and outside school. UNFPA indicated its support for the Government of Uzbekistan to introduce a range of modern contraceptive methods in the country and is currently supporting national efforts in the country to prevent gender based and domestic violence and respond to victim’s needs. It commended the Government for its actions in these areas. [Para 731]
