Recommendation
The Knesset enacted the Expansion of the Appropriate Representation of Women Law (Legislative Amendments) 5771-2011 which obligates appropriate representation for women in inquiry commissions and national examination committees. According to the new Law the Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women in the Prime Minister Office (the "Authority") will establish a list of women who are suitable and qualified applicants to take part in such committees. According to Section 3(4)(3) to the amendment, a woman who consider herself as suitable to be included in the Authority's list may apply to the Authority in order to be included, specifying her education, experience and training.
