JS4 recommends that current legislation on paid domestic work be amended, that labour inspections of employers be stepped up and that employers who breach the Labour Code be severely punished. It also calls for enforcement of the Equal Opportunities Act (No. 4), the gender equality standards contained in the international conventions signed by Panama, and existing domestic legislation.
