CEDAW urged Azerbaijan to intensify efforts to overcome persistent and deep-rooted stereotypes that are discriminatory against women, to disseminate information on the Convention through the educational system, including human rights education and gender-sensitivity training. CEDAW and HR Committee recommended that awareness-raising campaigns be organized in this regard. [Para 8]
