In 2020, PEI began funding the Community Legal Information Rise program, which provides legal advice, navigation, and supports for people who have experienced sexual violence, and recently expanded to include intimate partner violence. The Children’s Law Act (2021) codified the best interests of the child in provincial family law. [Para 54]
