Consider further measures to ensure the minimum age of marriage is raised to at least 18 years across all of the United Kingdom.
Explanation
The UK has introduced legislation that is planned to come into force on 27 February 2023 to raise the minimum age of marriage in England and Wales to 18. The Scottish Government is currently gathering views from key stakeholders on raising the minimum age of marriage and civil partnership to 18 from 16.
