Recommendation
JS10 and The Sexual Rights Initiative highlighted that sex workers were highly stigmatized and suffered from systematic discrimination and violence. The latter informed that, while sex work per se was not criminalized, all activities surrounding sex work were criminalized, resulting in de facto criminalization of sex work. The frequency of police raids has intensified and women detained are forced to undergo a medical examination and to test for HIV and STIs. [Para 77]
