PPAT noted that many migrants and their families, especially those who migrated irregularly, were particularly vulnerable to abuse and exploitation, leaving their spouses and children without access to sexual and reproductive healthcare and more vulnerable to unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted illnesses (STIs), limited antenatal care, and maternal mortality.
