On February 18, 2019, Pohnpei state legislature passed the State law 9L-105-19 to raise the age of consent from 16 years to 18 years. ... Chuuk state law 12-14-18 also increases the age of consent to 18 years. All the remaining States of Yap and Kosrae are working on increasing the age of consent.
