    En relación con la recomendación 111.97, la implementación se enmarcará, por un lado, respecto de la acción estratégica de la “Mesa Temática para los Derechos de las Mujeres” del Lineamiento Estratégico N° 3 del PNDH que señala la conformación de una “mesa de trabajo con representantes del Estado y la sociedad civil para analizar y resolver la problemática de las personas víctimas de esterilizaciones forzadas producidas entre los años 1995 a 2001.” Cabe señalar que el 6 de noviembre de 2015 se declaró de interés nacional con carácter prioritario las acciones de promoción del acceso a la justicia, a través de los servicios de asistencia legal gratuita, el acompañamiento psicológico y la atención de salud integral a las víctimas de esterilizaciones forzadas producidas entre 1995-2001 (Decreto Supremo N° 006-2015-JUS).

    groups of vulnerable city and jungle-dwellers in Peru was developed against that backdrop.
    Its main components are training on intercultural issues for the members of community

    The Philippine criminal justice system has legal mechanisms for the protection of women, migrant workers, youth, indigenous peoples, and other vulnerable groups. At least 15 laws have been passed during the last decade on the protection of their rights. The PNP and NBI have established mechanisms for dealing with women, youth and children. The PNP operates Women and Children Protection Desks in police stations staffed by accordingly-trained policemen/policewomen. As mentioned earlier, the DSWD and civil society also maintain institutions to address needs of women and children in conflict with the law or victims of crimes. [Para 140]

    Para 59) In 2013, GPH declared November 25 of every year as a National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children. Government agencies and institutions continue to conduct annual campaigns, like Women’s Month Celebration and 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) to raise awareness on Convention on Elimination of All Discriminations Against Women (CEDAW), MCW, related laws, and international human rights standards.

    Para 62) PNP has 1,918 Women and Children Protection Desks (WCPD) nationwide, with 4,573 personnel at the frontlines of responding and preventing, receiving and documenting gender-based violence and violence against women and children (VAWC), and of providing assistance in filing appropriate administrative and criminal cases. Around 88% of the 42,028 villages have WCPDs responding to gender-based violence cases. From 2013 to 2015, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has recorded a total of 30,334 VAW cases filed in court.

On the latter, the GPH respects cultural rights in accordance with the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the human right to freedom of religion under Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). ... Those that relate to legislative or parliamentary actions that must be informed by multi-stakeholder and multi-sector consultations, the results of which may not be aligned with the recommendations.
